• Successful led marketing campaign to get approval for the biggest and most comprehensive university recreational facilities, lead a team of 15 full and part-time employees, generated almost 10% of the department’s 1996 budget through new sponsorships, and delivered over 10 leadership training sessions as first full-time Marketing and Training Director for the Department of Recreational Sports.

4. From his days as a high school and college athlete to his days as a leader and executive coach, Jon has always played the role of breakthrough catalyst! Jon's college basketball coach was quoted as saying "When Jon plays well, the team plays well. He seems to be the catalyst. Down the stretch, he had key passes and rebounds, along with his points." Jon's was MVP of his college basketball team as a senior, played on championship teams throughout his athletic career, and had the most unique college experience of simultaneously studying and learning the unique characteristics of both a winless and national championship team during his junior year in college.

Jon received a BS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Management Systems from Clarkson University and a Ph.D. in Sport Management from The Ohio State University while studying leadership. Jon has reviewed and studied over 300 business books has trained and coached over 200 people at The Ohio State University to implement Franklin Covey Leadership concepts and tools.

The joy and inspiration Jon brings to each day from his happy family and enjoyable personal life.  Jon and Mary Ann, his wife of over 9 years, are joyfully raising their beautiful, energetic and entertaining five year old daughter, Catherine! Jon enjoys participating in a variety of physical activities, watching highly competitive sports events, and doing carpentry work in his free time.
